SyncBridge-Actofit Smartwatch (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an independent, community-developed Android application created to help users continue using their Actofit Smartwatches. This app is not an official Actofit product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Actofit or its partners.

1. Information We Collect

SyncBridge-Actofit Smartwatch does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All user data remains locally stored on your device.

Specifically, the app accesses:

• Bluetooth: To connect and communicate with your smartwatch.
• Location: Required by Android for Bluetooth scanning and to fetch weather data based on your current region.
• Camera: Used only when you trigger the camera shutter feature from your watch.
• Internet Access: To fetch weather updates (via weatherapi.com).

No personal identifiers (such as names, email addresses, or fitness logs) are ever sent to external servers. The app operates entirely offline except for weather data retrieval.

2. Data Sharing

We do not share any user information with third parties. All app functionality is performed locally on the user’s device, except the weather service, which is called anonymously without any user-identifying data.

3. Data Retention

All synced smartwatch data is stored locally and is deleted when the user uninstalls the app.

4. Security

Since all data is kept locally on your Android device, your privacy depends on your device’s own security settings (such as screen lock, app permissions, and Android OS security features).

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party service:

• WeatherAPI (weatherapi.com): for weather information and AQI updates.

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect or store information from children under 13 years of age.

7. Disclaimer

SyncBridge-Actofit Smartwatch is an unofficial, community-maintained project intended to keep Actofit smartwatches functional. It is provided “as is” without any warranties or guarantees. Use at your own discretion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
